JOIN US for this opportunity to “go deep” into Native American spirituality and a way of being that honors ritual, the natural cycles of the seasons, and the sacred in all living things. In retreat, we will come together to explore the teachings and wisdom of the Medicine Wheel. We’ll experience the sacred rite of purification and prayer. Come prepared for both active engagement and the stillness of “being” in this experiential journey.
FACILITATORS
Barbara H. Davis is a licensed professional counselor and experiential educator who has studied Native American spirituality and the medicine wheel for the past ten years.
Diane Davis is a spiritual counselor, mentor, and healer who has apprenticed with a Lakota Medicine Man for many years and facilitates sacred ceremonies in the Lakota tradition.

Sevenoaks Retreat Center, Madison, VA
Sevenoaks is a spiritual education and retreat center nestled in the foothills of Virginia’s Blue Ridge Mountains. It provides a tranquil setting for a peace filled and powerful experience with nature, the many aspects of the Medicine Wheel and a powerful place to experience sacred ceremony. WORKSHOP COST
Retreat $300. (No charge for Purification Ceremony)
Room and board fee approx. $300. Deposit of $150 is required by May 1st.
Final room and board will depend on the number of participants.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
Participants must register by May 1, 2011 in order to reserve space at the Sevenoaks Retreat Center. Upon registration, participants will receive an overview of the Purification Ceremony, directions to the Center, and specific information about room and board costs.
